Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI)
“The primary mission of the FEI is to advance the orderly growth of equestrian sport worldwide by promoting, regulating and administering humane and sportsmanlike international competition in the traditional equestrian disciplines” - FEI Mission Statement.
The FEI is the sole controlling authority for all international events in Dressage, Para-Equestrian Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Driving, Para-Equestrian Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining. It is an umbrella organization that works in conjunction with the National Federations of each member country to regulate and govern the equestrian disciplines named above.
Membership in the FEI is open to the one national governing body from any country which is effectively in control of or is in a position to effectively control at least the Olympic Equestrian Disciplines, and preferably recognised by its National Olympic Committee.

United States Dressage Federation
The United States Dressage Federation is the only national membership organization dedicated to dressage, a method of horse training in existence since ancient Greece and an Olympic sport since the inception of the modern Olympics in the late 1800’s.
Dedicated to education, the recognition of achievement and promotion of dressage, USDF is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with more than 30 different educational programs, 125 affiliate local or regional clubs and more than 2000 annual awards for excellence in competition.
The Virginia Dressage Association
Virginia Dressage Association (VADA) is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). VADA is made up of eight chapters: Central (VADAA-CC), Charlottesville (VADA-CH), Fredricksburg (VADAF), Northeast (VADA-NE), Northern Virginia (VADA/NOVA), Shenandoah Valley (ShenVADA), Southeast (SVDA) and Southwest (SWVADA).
VADA offers educational opportunities in the forms of scholarships, clinics, recognized shows, and schooling shows for its members. VADA recognizes rider achievements through Year End Awards Program.
Virginia Dressage Association, Central Chapter
The Virginia Dressage Association, Central Chapter, is a chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association (VADA), which is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). Membership is open to all who show an interest in dressage. We promote participation in and education about the equestrian sport of dressage in the Central Virginia area.

Australian event rider Kate Chadderton, of Victory Sport Horses (located in Maryland), provides training for individuals at all levels in dressage, show jumping, and cross country. She also offers sale horses for both dressage and jumping disciplines.

Stübben saddles are individually crafted... many of the steps are still done by hand. From the selection of the hide and the construction of the tree to the cutting, sewing, and final assembly, each Stübben saddle requires over 100 unique and individual steps before its completion.
